Make An Entrance, Make A Difference - 2015 Fundraiser for Women Breast Health

  I have written and spoken a lot about Women Health, especially Breast health and how endeared I am to the issue(the Pink Issue).  I am a strong advocate of Breast Cancer Awareness because of personal experiences that are close to home. For example, my mother in the early 70's went through three surgeries and thank God she is still living.  I have lost a few close and dear friends to breast cancer, as recently as August, 2015 as well as a few that survived it 

I am therefore asking you to join me in raising funds for this giant that is affecting women worldwide by purchasing our  latest fragrance, created by Fergie - Outspoken Party. This is a Fundraiser by Avon for the Breast Cancer cause. $5 of each bottle we sell will be donated to Avon Foundation for Women (Avon is the largest corporate supporter of breast cancer research).  I set a goal to sell 250 sets of Avon Outspoken Party between September 29th through October 12, thereby raising $1,250 for the Foundation. Attending 2015 Making Dreams Come True Avon Leadership Conference

I am so excited for the opportunity to attend the 2015 Making Dreams Come True Avon Conference. The venue once again is the sunny Orlando, Florida.  This event is always exciting, memorable and super action-packed two days. I am so excited that I have been doing the countdown for two weeks.

I did not start attending this kind of events until 20 years after I joined Avon.  My kids were growing, and in activities,  my full time job and truly, I did not pay much attention to it or have a strong desire/motivation to attend.  I did not know Representatives in my area that attended and could share it with me.  In 2009, I attended my first Avon-paid event in Los Angeles and a few months later, I went to  my first Conference in Las Vegas.  I was blown away by the chance of meeting my Avon idols - Lisa Whitten Wilber, Donna Reid-Mitchell, Vondell McKenzie, Sylvia Tamayo, the top Managment at Avon and a host of other fellow Representatives as well as some from our Metropolitan.  To top it all, aside from the training/seminars to help us grow our business and help our Teams, we will have the front-row chance to see all the new and holiday products.  That is the huge bonus for me. This will help us promote and share them with our customers better, because we have seen them, touch them and probably use them too.

I was in awe of the friendship that developed in those few days and tips and ideas we shared among ourselves. I pledged then and prayed that as long as I live  and I am  healthy, I will not miss another Conference again. To God be the glory, I have been going since and in 2014 I earned the trip through Avon incentives as well as 2015 minus my airfare(airfare was not offered). My Conference registration and hotel stay are both paid for by Avon!  Thank you Avon and to my business partners that enabled me earn the trips.The power of these kind of events is that it  brings energy of all of us being together as a Team.

I cannot wait to get to Orlando, Florida on Sunday morning and start a two-day networking with all my fellow Avon ladies and Avon men(our own GQs - suave, highly talented and smart Avon men). Yes, we have Avon men and they are very successful, most importantly, fun to be around too.
