I stepped out this afternoon from my office briefly and driving by a Church, I saw this sign " A Heart is Happiest when Beating for Others". From that point on, I was thinking about it till I got back to my office.
What does it mean? Is it donating your heart after our work is finished on earth? What does it mean? again, I pondered. Then it hits me. What are we on earth for? What is our real purpose? I came up with - To LOVE others! We can get all wrapped up with ourselves and needs. Don't get me wrong, it is great to have things, love our families and friends and even ourselves. Looking at this statement here, I believe that our real purpose, the real reason of being put on earth is to love others,
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13. See how God loves us and gave His only begotten us to die for our sins. That is a great example.
We all love to receive love. Whatever it is, whatever the need, give it - a smile, kind word, helping a person achieve something they could not have on their own. change lives, a drink, a ride. Anything you have in your power to give. When you share your love with others, the blessings are awaiting you. It does not matter who that person is. No matter the color of our skin or shape of our bodies, the same blood runs through our bodies. We are all ONE! Vincent von Gogh once said, '"here is nothing more truly artistic than to love people'".
So, as human beings, put on this earth for a purpose, our heart will be happiest when it beats for others.
